It would be a good battle. The 1999 Mclaren has more low speed downforce and a nigh on identical power to weight ratio to the 919. The 919 would be able to win on traction, but the Mclaren would be far more nimble.

Ifan Ramadhana Conservative or not, this is a timed shootout up the hill, if they were gonna have someone run it conservative, they shouldn’t have entered it in the timed shootout. I’m tired of them embarrassing legendary race cars every year that would put miles on any of these NASCARS they end up losing to any real track with any real effort. So silly for Group C cars and winning Formula 1 cars to be slower than stock cars and touring cars from the 60s.

Edgar Alvarez While you have a point you had to remember that FoS is event for fun. Even the competitive section is "fun" and each cars had their own classes so in the end they are competing with their peers.

The Jaguar XJR 12D, driven by Justin Law, gained a HALF-second in the final sector... The speed at which it came toward the camera was immense.

Rod Miller in the Toyota Tacoma is still one of my beat runs I've ever seen up the hill, set a fast time as well off 45.0 which was 10th fastest ever till this years event

The RS200 run was epic! Then the M4 (which looks stunning) went 0.5s faster but looked 10s slower and half as fun. What has gone wrong in motorsport in the last 40 years could not be clearer.
