I don't even know if a pure Fossil deck is even POSSIBLE. lol. Even if we get the other monsters like Sample Fossil or Flint Grager with the usual upgraded effects. XD That seems like a going second Deck if anything because these Fusions are basically beatsticks with _some_ utility in the Graveyard. Honestly, I never expected the Fossil stuff to be competitive... And that's just because their gimmick by modern Yu-Gi-Oh! Just isn't enough on its own. Keep in mind that these cards were from the GX era lmao. The OG Invoked if you will. They rely too much on your opponent. You'd have to overtune these Fossil cards (like their on field effects have to be like "broken" or somethin'). That Fossil Warrior Skull King level 8 Fusion is kinda what I'm talkin' about. Definitely happy they were finally printed though. Now Konami, give me Valon's Armor cards. X]

thing is, the gimmick of fossils was like a new idea way back in the day, but was never made into an actual gimmick till invoked came out as the first archetype to introduce the GY fusion gimmick. The difference though, is that unlike fossils that heavily rely on the opponent to have the appropriate target in their GY, invoked allows you to use materials from your GY, and that's applied to all of their fusions, where some of the fossil fusions restrict you to using something from opponents GY. As a result, Invoked has more control and less opponent reliant. In a way, they just gave us a bad version of Invoked that mainly focuses on going 2nd. At least fossils are playable right now (all that matters to me) cause BOY they were AWFUL in the anime.

Ehhhhh you know fossil fusion is not limited to use op GY...you can use yours alone, just the fossil dragons use op GY

@@stevencontreras84 yeah but it's limited since some of your fusions require the opponent to have the appropriate target. You didn't need to worry about that with invoked since every fusion has material that can achieved in your GY as well, making the invoked fusions way more versatile.

You only need to use the opponent's GY for half the Fusions and to get targeting immunity from Fossil Fusion. Really Fossil Fusion takes material from either GY, doesn't matter how much, so the amount of dependancy on your opponent is limited anyhow. Much like Invoked. And when the 'reliance' on your opponent can be satisfied as easily as 'dump Forehead Tuner to try and stop play, lose Forehead Tuner to Fusion Spell', bad is not an operable term for this.

I reckon that the Miracle rupture card could work in Adamancipators just for the foolish burial effect. I reckon it could just be a tech/engine to bust out a fusion during mid/late states to push for game and the draw is a bonus.

Despite I like the video, I am kind of disappointed from the fact it is a very tiny engine of fossils, I was definitely more HYPED for a more pure-ish build ? because with or without the fossil engine, adamansomething ends always with the same exact board =\ I want to see Fossils shine moooore ! I have tested a little a more pure version (With a little engine of Koa'ki Mieru and Adamancipator) and it's pretty good, but you need A LOT of extra deck spaces for your Fossils.

Fossil fusion is already great because is super poly for the graveyard so any monster that your opponent has in the grave that gives them advantage can me fused away but the fact Jim's deck a rock fusion deck with a graveyard super polymerization came soooooo late after gx is a real crime cause multiple piece golem is your average standard fusion not like these old fossils I just hope we get more fossil fusions like that convoy monster from jim duel with that guy who uses the OG ritual monster (the biker) Plus more like idk …. Fossil fish skull JAWS or like a big lvl 12 mudder fucker which Idk what that'd be based on … if someone has an idea for a fossil fusion i'd love to hear it

Have you considered running the new Fossil cards in a Megalith deck? Megalith Phul (coming out in ROTD) addresses a lot of the deck's flaws, and their ability to drop high-level Rock monsters into the grave gives you the chance to run Skull King, whose quick effect makes for a good disruption. If you're feeling really spicy, you could run Mega Zaborg and use the Level 4 Fusion monster to facilitate the plays even more.
