You would be better off with the Samsung active 2. With the fossil you can only use Google pay with it. You will get better battery life too.

I love the function of the apple watch that allows you to still receive notifications, phone calls, etc. on your watch as long as your phone and watch are connected to the same wifi network (even if your phone is out of bluetooth range from your watch). Do you know of any wear OS watches that have that same feature? I have a pixel 2 and would really like to be able to leave my phone in one part of my work setting and still get notifications on my watch even if I'm more than bluetooth range away (but connected to my work wifi network). It does for me with always on display. someone In the comments mentioned that Amazon has a wardrobe where you can test it out for 7 days and only pay for it if you keep it. I think you should give that a try. For me it it drains about 55% the day.

I'm baffled actually, all the reviews point out that the battery life is pretty good, at the very least 12-15 hrs a day in daily mode. Mine doesn't last 6 hrs in daily, it's just atrocious !! Am I missing something ? Can one of you please help me with this ? Thanks in advance.

Not sure what is going on. Turning off the tilt to wake and wrist gesture should help but you should definitely be getting more then 6 hours with daily mode on. You should try getting an exchange.

Have you checked the media volume on the settings under sounds? I found that at times when you mute and unmute the speaker it doesn't actually unmute so you have to manually go into the settings and raise the media volume. Managed to recreate it twice.

I was actually thinking about that, looks like you can but will most likely need to use a wire conductive glue so that electricity can still flow. If that happens to you I would suggest just sending it out under the 1 year warranty so that you don't void your warranty.

Besides the speaker issue, the watch works great. I do hope fossil releases the software update to fix that. The other watch that comes to mind is the TicWatch Pro 4G/LTE which also has 1gb of ram though only 4gb of storage and 4g only works with Verizon. You can always buy the Gen 5 and then return it if the speaker issue persists.

Is this watch capable of managing phone calls and messages when Bluetooth is off and WiFi is on?
