When I collect in Charleston, SC, rarely I happen upon a shark tooth pressed into the sand by the footprint of my collecting buddy. This makes up for the fragile sea urchin tests, crushed into oblivion by the police vehicles coming down to make sure everything is ok.

I hate finding a pile of broken ones on top of a boulder 😤
