What time of day is best, Is it always first thing in the morning because you wanna be first to find stuff or is it just better for the tides etc ? I wanna come up soon but its a bit of a trek for me im in derbyshire. Thinking maybe come for the weekend insted of just for a day.

All hunts are based on the tides, but as we travel as well early mornings are the best for us so that we can get as much time on the beach as we need. Being first is a plus also. Check out fossils in your area to, try UKGE Locations page. A descent way to travel , think I would do a weekender , just book it around the best tides.

Sorry only just seen this. No tips just turn right at the bottom and don't bother going past the Fog Station. Hope you had some good finds?
