Great video Mark some nice Ammonites there, I am sure I remember seeing that 1 meter nodule last time I was there , looks like the beach material has changed quite a bit .

Thanks for taking us along for the hunt! I've yet to try Port Mulgrave (been too scared of the rope situation), so good to see that it might not be terrible :)

It's really not that bad Terry. I would maybe avoid it if it was soaking wet but dry conditions thiere is plent of footholds and its really not that steep.

The stuff at port mulgrave seems to be mostly battered by the see, loads of broken stuff. Never mind, happy days

yeah i never seem to do that well at port, need to hit it after a good storm i think in the winter when no one is collecting.

Good finds, shame not many complete ones. Port Mulgrave is a good destination though 😀👍🏻

Hi Rebecca, yup unfortunatley to complete ones are sometimes hard to find, however my man shed is full of complete specimens so we can't complain to much ha ha

It wasn't wood at around 10 minutes. That was actually crocodile skin
@TheYorkshireFossilHunter3 жыл бұрын
I wish that was the case Aaron, however the structure inside was very much like wood with clear signs of growth rings and grain I'm afraid.
