I have been invited to a Fossil Hunt at Sandsend this time from John Koser from Fossil Adventures so let's see what we can find. Also joining us is Mark and Alex so should be a good Fossil Hunt.

Loads of goodies, and loads of work. Prepin video required now. There seems to be more golden ammonite at Sandsend hard hard work but fantastically beautiful when polished. Great video and great to see you with John n Mark, happy days

We went to salt wick Bay on Saturday yesterday and thought we had the tide times right. Ha. It was terribly windy the sea was boiling and got told it was a high low tide. Was this because of the conditions and because we travel two hours to get there how do we make sure we get there when the tide is retreating. We got a couple brilliant finds even on a small area and we watched the gulls catch a ruddy huge fish which they had to let it drop thank you for learning us amateur fossil hunters

Hello I just look on the internet for the tide time's but sometimes like you it doesn't always work like that and you get there and like you if it's stormy it takes longer for the tide to go out. But it's nice to potter around for a bit. Glad you had a good day it takes me around 2 hour's too to get up to north yorkshire but it is a beautiful place. So say if high tide is at 6am you want to be getting there about 7.30-8. Hope this helps Colin

@@fishing631 yes thank you that makes it easier for us to understand we did have a superb time and you are right about the cliffs as tiny bits were pelting down and we kept a good distance from them thank you again
