@@jordanjones7985 the antique WW2 boots hurt. they were vintage, built better then almost anything on the market now, and were totally up my alley style wise. The rest are all exploration of what makes the style/brand good or bad.

but now they use vegan leather.. the quality of the bag declined too. I have a crossbody bag bought in 2019. didn't use much but they peel?? which is strange. leather don't peel. although I'm completely aware they use genuine leather; the lowest grade. yet I had the same material bought in 2014, works just fine

I bought a fossil wallet 10 years ago, only the zipper is faulty now but still using it. Definitely worth it imo. Great video!

If this ever happens again and you bought it at one of their stores, take it back and see if they will send it in for repair. My mother in law did this for a wallet she loved and the store did this for her. I don't know if you need a receipt but it never hurts to try!

You can also go to a shoe repair shop. They usually work in all kinds of leather goods, or have contacts who do special items. I've had jackets repaired, purses cleaned and hardware changed to look new, soles on suede boots replaced. When you invest in leather, it can absolutely last a lifetime and be heirloom if kept in good condition!😀

I’ve had a Fossil wallet for years and the finish is slowly wearing down, as he noted in the video, but it’s a good looking sort of soft wear - no chunks of color coming off or rough patches. I love their stuff and it’s pretty much the only place I buy leather bags and wallets!

I think Fossil brand leather is SUPPOSED to show wear. I had a Fossil brand leather watchband and it started looking like it was a family heirloom! Wore that watch for years until it was stolen 😕

Back in 2003, I would say getting a Fossil for me was luxury. The leather was just so good and crafted well. But I can’t afford to spend that money. 12yrs after, I able to buy 2 bags and 1wallet. And still holding up well even after almost 10yrs❤

I have a ladies Fossil tri-fold wallet that I purchased sometime between the years 1996 and 2000. I have used it everyday since then to now. The only thing that has worn out is the zipper on the coin section. I LOVE Fossil leather goods!

I have had my Fossil wallet for at least 10 if not 15 years. I am using it daily, I am putting it in my messenger case, the back pocket of my jeans, my jacket and don't pamper it at all. SO far the leather is in perfect condition and not a single stitch has come lose. It's the best one I have ever had including some way more expensive ones.

I have a couple wallets from them from years ago. They’ve aged very gracefully. Not super expensive either. Also a leather belt and it’s held up really great compared to my plastic leather belts. They always fall apart after a few months. I would buy more from them.

I recently bought a fossil bag and card holder. The leather is so nice and soft but i have already scratched it. The card holder is a tougher leather. Both look amazing, great price, beautiful leather, great hardware too it’s not cheap crap and overall the bag fits everything I need

I've had a fossil wallet for about 7 years now, still going strong. It had this green trim on the edges that is long gone, but that's alright I think it looks fine without it, and while the glue broke down and most of it is gone, none of the stitching failed and it withstood plenty of abuse from random oversized items I'd keep in there that shouldn't have gone in a wallet. Good quality wallets, and there's so many of them that you're basically guaranteed to find one on sale. One of these for 30 bucks is a real bargain.

I do like me quality leather. Yea I know name brand w.e but my wife got me a coach leather wallet for one of my wedding presents and it's almost 10 years old and the the only dmg on it is a small crease where it folds, otherwise it's like-new. Good leather shows over time
