I am on the Holderness coast today looking for fossils and I hope I get something good so let's see what I can find.

We went with our grandson a few weeks ago we found a few fossils and a few flat fish that our grandson insisted we throw back in the sea even if they were dead we had a lovely day

I am off to Mapleton in a week i find the best time to go is 19 mins before low tide! And if you see the pirate flag facing north That's were the fossils are! also if you keep your eyes peeled you may find some ichy vert fragmites thanks for posting again colin.

@@fishing631 interesting mix of stuff, they must have eroded down to the lower Redcar Mudstone on the way to the coast!
