I would not call any hike in South Cumberland State park easy except for the trail to Stone Door and back. That trail is partially ADA accessible (paved) all other trails in South Cumberland SP are rocky and will be somewhat or more technical. Only experienced hikers should attempt the Fiery Gizzard from point to point. It can be dangerous otherwise. Just posting for anyone else who comes across this. South Cumberland SP is my favorite TN park to date! The park’s friends group I’m a part of also hosts a festival every April! April 8-10 this year (2022) Tomorrow will actually be my first time at Foster though, I’ve still got a lot of trail left to hike in the park!

Excellent footage! Heading there is a few days and I appreciate you sharing this video. Have you hiked the Fiery Gizzard Trail before? Which direction is best to hike the trail? Now following #119!

We have not hiked The Fiery Gizzard. We did see a good amount of people take off from the trail head, and a couple if groups with overnight backpacks. We are more into the mile or so hikes with waterfalls as the payoffs, so I didn't do too much searching about it.

@@moseyingwiththemalys3357 Just got back from hiking this trail point to point and it was intense! We went from Grundy to Foster Falls and it was incredible. Video will be posted very soon. If you get a chance, I definitely recommend hiking it from point to point but it is strenuous! There is a ton of places to hike and explore with waterfalls and such on my channel that might interest you. Would love to hear your feedback! Keep up the videos!
