Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, created by Craig McCracken, follows the adventures of an 8-year-old boy named Mac, who, after being forced by his mother to get rid of his imaginary friend Bloo, takes Bloo to a orphanage home called Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. The series premiered on August 13, 2004 with the 3-part episode 'House of Bloos'. The series became an instant hit, with high ratings and positive critical reception. Sadly, the series ended on May 3, 2009, after 79 episodes spawing 6 seasons. However, it's still very popular for a cartoon of the 2000s.

All good things must come to an end. The important thing is that the memories of good things, such as good cartoons, live on in our hearts and minds forever, and we can always rewatch them any time. People need to learn to accept that and not dwell too much on the past. All the cartoons of the late 90s-early 2000s--would you rather them keep going and change writers and become awful like Spongebob, or would you rather them go out happily and make way for good new shows?
