When the notification bubble popped up with something about, “I’m rich because of landscape photography,” my first reaction was oh no, not some jerk bragging about how much money he is making on KZbin and if you buy his 10-episode video course you can become a one-percenter too. But to my great relief and delight it was Gavin banging on about the true wealth bestowed upon those who pursue the play of light on the landscape, proving this is wealth you can share without limit.

Kayaks are great. Tandem kayaks are called divorce boats. Try before you buy, this would include picking them up to see how easy it will be to get them on your vehicle. Sit on tops are great for hopping off in sketchy places or launching through the surf. Pedal driven kayaks are awesome. Your hands are mostly free to do whatever you like. I'm on ly familiar with Hobie pedal yaks but there are others. Remember safety, safety, safety. Cold water kills. Every spring you hear about it. Those rock formations are wild!

Plus his top notch Yorkshire humour along with Amanda's Canadian humour. I'm only 1 minute into watching, and I'm hooked again. I love the combination of familiar territory, sharp self-deprecating humour, and a ferry passing by Entrance Island. True story: I was a "Ferry Nerd" (a specific breed of ship enthusiast), and that is what originally got me into photography and videos. So seeing the Queen of New Westminster leaving on her 7:45am sailing to Tsawwassen is a trip down memory lane for me. ok, too much typing, not enough watching. Back to the video for me :)
