Found a Unique DIY on a Bike Path

I was just there yesterday. 31 years off a board,this little spot brought me back to why I loved and missed skating so much.

Me seeing that riding by: OMG it's perfect for skating! Me seeing that skating by: OMG I don't feel like braking my hip today! You're a beast for giving it a go; a real session. We actually had an extended version of that kind of janky spot when I was a kid. An asphalt bank into an angled parking curb just like that one you skated, it was behind the 7-11, and it ran the whole length of the store. It was 30 seconds from my house when I was a kid. Skated it all the time. But these days, as I get older, much older, sometimes the juice isn't worth the squeeze,... or worth being off injured for weeks at a time for skating and potentially getting injured at janky spots, even for the types of stuff I skated pretty often as a kid. As I get older I have to pick and choose my janky street battles more carefully.
