Today I take you on the last adventure in Turkey. A place that I absolutely did not expect to find on my journey in this country.
This house hasn't been called home for a long time. With documents dating back to before I was born, old childhood photos, and a collapsed roof, it's evident this building has been vacant for decades.
Having previously been occupied by a Turkish zoologist and his family, the building is now stranded on a Turkish island and nature takes the upper hand.
Delve yourself into a beautiful piece of Turkish history as I take you on a tour inside this traditional wooden-constructed house.

This house was occupied by Greeks, not Turks. The writing in the notebooks is Greek not Turkish. Also the child in the photograph is wearing a cross. There is also a lot of alcohol, most notably the Metaxa Greek brandy.

Muslims have genocided through that region since the rise of Islam. There are many ruins left of Christian and Jewish sites still all over Turkey. Muslim law is war and deception to rule Earth by terror and slaughter. Antichrist law. Mohammad is the Antichrist. Revelation 12 happened 1400 years ago. The West is next. The West is the prostitute hated by the beast in Revelation 17 and 18. Sahih Muslim (1:30) - "The Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah." Sahih Bukhari (52:73) - "Allah's Apostle said, 'Know that Paradise is under the shades of swords'." Sahih Bukhari (11:626) - [Muhammad said:] "I decided to order a man to lead the prayer and then take a flame to burn all those, who had not left their houses for the prayer, burning them alive inside their homes." Sahih Muslim (1:149) - "Abu Dharr reported: I said: Messenger of Allah, which of the deeds is the best? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Belief in Allah and Jihad in His cause..."

This is a house of a Greek as you can clearly see on 23:30, that most likely was destroyed and vandalised on pogroms of 1955 where 4500 houses, 2500 businesses and 250 churches of Greeks were destroyed looted and stolen after a staged provocation form the Turkish deep state (derin devlet) in the process of "turkification" of Turkish economy since till then the Greek and other minorities were controlling economically the city. 60% of shops in istiklal Street, a street equivalent to what 5th Avenue is for NY or Oxford Street for London, were Greek. In 1964 with the violent persecutions the Turkish state officially stole their properties and from 360.000 back in 1923 when treaty of luasanne was signed and Greeks of Constantinople, imbros and Tenedos islands were excluded from population exchange, now they are only 600. Meanwhile the Muslims in Greece protected by the same treaty, from 40.000, now they are 120.000.

Thank goodness for your video to brighten up what was a pretty boring day!! The mansion must have been quite splendid in its day. I wonder why it was just left? I especially find it sad when so many clothes are still hanging in the bedrooms as if there was just no time to pack them before leaving. So glad you didn't have any problems with the 'law' while in Turkey 🇹🇷. Looking forward to the next series. Gill 🇬🇧

The house is owned by a Greek as you can clrealy see the greek words and letters on 23:30. In 1955 after a staged provocation from the deep Turkish state, 4500 houses, 2500 shops, 25 hotels, 12 industries and 250 churches of Greeks were destroyed vandalised and looted. In 1964 the violent persecutions started where the turkish state took their properties and the remained Greek population was persecuted. From 360.000 in 1923 after the treaty of luasanne was signed, now they are only 600.

Heyy my dear friend Maureno, What an outstandingly well formulated introduction to your new video! - The whole series from Turkey was absolutely amazing, and you were showing so unusual and fascinating locations together with your friend Carter. Also this video brings somehow a lovely holiday feeling, when I see you on that ferry to the island, where you found that absolutely stunning mansion. - And - I also appreciate very much, that you as well show the challenging situations to explore the desired location and what kind of great efforts you have to take to finally be able to film this mansion. - Super, bro! - Of course there were also some rather trashed parts inside the house considering the pulled open drawers and the opened doors of the cabinets and wardrobes and a lot of things thrown and spread all over the floors. - But I still agree to you, that this masnion had also quite a clearly visible time capsule vibe. I presume, when seeing these huge doors with the glass windows and some of the interior architecture, that there might have been quite a wealthy Turkish family living back in the days, when that mansion was still full of life! Thank you so much for sharing this exceptional Urbex adventure discovered by yourself! - Wishing you fullheartedly a very merry Christmas and a lot of fun and new impressions on your grand trip together with Lesley. Stay safe, dear bro, peace and many hugs. - Blessings and kindest regards.

The stair case was amazing .. it's sad to see it decay into that state, and the windows and doors, the delicate laces were lovely to see. Apart from the mosque it would be such a peaceful and quiet place to live. 0:46 the letters are greek. This was a home of a Greek family, probably had to flee because of the Istanbul Pogroms and the Imvros - Ténedos Islands Pogroms against its indigenous Greek population, in 1956 and 1964. There is lot of info on the internet about it. Hopefully things will be settled and people can go back to their homes. Thank You for your very special videos and all the great work you do 🌹

Following a commentor below I looked up what happened to the Greeks in Turkey back in the '50s and 60s.😱 Very disturbing, to say the least! I wonder how much hatred toward the Greeks still exists in Turkey today? 🤔

Be sure Turks doesn't hate Greeks as Greeks hate Turks. I am Turkish and i don't have any hatred against Greeks or any other nation and i think no one should. Why don't we just respect and love each other❤️

@@ayca6954 That's great to hear! Sometimes old prejudices die hard, or maybe the events took place before your time? The Wiki article I read referred to the 50's and 60's. The Greek's property was seized, citizenships revoked, and they were forced out of the country with nothing but a suitcase and about $22 US (Muslim versus Christians?). Some of those forced out had never even been to Greece and/or were married to Turkish citizens with families. There are probably many houses like this, but most have probably been looted and repopulated. It was interesting to read about this historical event. I had never even heard of these events before I watched this explore!

@@toocutepuppies6535 it did not only happen in 50s and 60s but immediately after the treaty of luasanne was signed when the greek population of Constantinople, imbros and tenedos Islands was excluded from population exchange, about 360.000 geeks. In 1934 with the law number 2007, non-Turks (which pretty much meant non-Muslim) should stop working on various of jobs. In 1942 during ww2 with the "varlik vergisi" tax , a tax for non-Turks as high as the value of an average house, Greeks sold their houses in bread prices, the ones who couldnt pay the tax were sent in Erzurum in concentration and labour camps and their properties were taken. Now from 360.000 back in 1923 they are only 600. Meanwhile the muslim population protected by the same treaty in Greece from 40.000 back then are 120.000 with their properties never looted, destroyed and vandalised as it happened all these decades with greeks.
