Next to a busy Belgian road lies a lonely house, which has been waiting for a few years to be loved again. Life once flourished in and around the house, yet the property has now been sorely left to the fate of nature. Let's transport ourselves to the life that once took place here: the life of the Belgian couple Mr. Louis en Mrs. Marie-Rosé. Married at young age, they lived a happy and loving life together. All of this until 1994, when Mr. Louis departed this earth due to weak health conditions and Mrs. Marie-Rosé was left as a widower. Her loneliness was soon filled up by the company of plenty of cats and kittens. Cats were eventually not only a distraction to the loss of her husband, but eventually became her obsession. Today, this house is still completely dominated by anything and everything that has to do with cats. Everywhere you look, you'll see something related to these cuddly animals. Today we take a look inside the house of the cat lady, and we'll take you along in our perception.

It's sad to see when the properties set up by a couple in their lives would just be neglected when both left. That's why I left my own house in the city to maintain our big house here in the province and farm surrounding it and othet lands set up by my parents who left already (Dad in 1986 at 65 y.o. and Mom last 2017 at 93 y.o.) because I pity if it will be neglected. Both my siblings migrated and citizens now, older brother in Canada and US, younger brother. They have families and our parents' properties take a backseat for them. If I've pushed through migrating to Australia when younger, we'll have the same situation for the house of my parents. But reality sucks, I too am senior age now and nobody lives forever. Unless my niece would take charge who also lives with family in Dubai, will also have the same scenario. It's hard not to have but also hard to have properties if there's no one who'll inherit them with the same care.

I'm amazed how clean the house looks and organized. All those cats items were her treasures. Their all adorable. Some are unique and some valuable. We can't take our treasures with us but I'd hope someone else would treasure them. It's sad their all there just left to decay with time. This home is filled with warmth and love.

Sorprendente que se encuentre la casa intacta y también la cantidad de figuras póster de gatitos se me hace exagerado pero bueno cada quien tiene sus gustos. What a lovely home! I would be happy to live in such a place. Being a cat fan myself, I found several things quite interesting (I have two cats). The only evidence in the home that she had cats there, besides the photos, was the cat scratching pole. No toys, no cat dishes, cat beds or cat food anywhere, anything like that. Which made me think someone either removed all of those things after she passed, or she no longer had cats living with her in the end. Another thing I found interesting is that many of the photos that were not hanging up, were laying on things, not standing up or hung up, just in clusters. Another abandoned explorer left them lying about? Find it odd that the daughter seemed not to want any of those personal things. Had to laugh at the dog next door....he was still barking when you were in the attic. Thanks for sharing this. One of the best explores I've seen in a while.

This was a wonderful home loved it. What you thought was a hornets nest was actually a swallows nest. Hope no one else ever finds it. So clean and neat. What a beautiful loving family. Thank you Maureno and Remon

By the way, that 'wasp' nest was actually a Swallows nest - that's why there are 2 swallows painted each side of it on the wall. Excellent video as always Maureno and Remon. The house is like a pretty cottage which are plentiful in Belgium. A thoroughly under valued country in my opinion. I love cats and I hope they gave this poor widow pleasure in her final years. The car repair area was a surprise at the end!! I hope this lovely house becomes a home again for somebody. What a wonderful home! I hope her cats brought her comfort after her husband passed.I know my dogs and cats were a comfort to me after I lost my husband. This house is so clean and neat she was an excellent housekeeper. It’s a shame her child or children haven’t been able to clean the place out and sell the property. Maybe if she died without a will everything is tied up in probate? How sad if that is the case, it could take years to get through the courts. 43:33 That is a patron saint of the Catholic's. I can not remember if it is St Peter or St Christopher, you can do an image search on Google if you have a better picture. I can not get it to give me an answer from this angle. Cat's are amazing, I had always had dogs but my ex fiance sent me home with a 4 mo old kitten back in 2004 to take care of the issue of field mice at my house. Well the cat not only took care of the field mice but was my constant companion and when I became paralyzed for 4 days on my bathroom floor he was always by my side, against my lower back, like a heating pad it was stunning. Then as time went on over the last 8 years if I lose a pill he will root around and not let me sleep until I get the pill I lost. He also goes to where I have the most pain lol even my head when I have a migraine trying to comfort me. Well my old guy is 17 years old and in his twilight of life but honestly cats are just as perfectly amazing as dogs, I love them both!! Thank you for the journey and for the great time together

The black ‘velvet’ coat with a curly surface in the master bedroom is a classic Astrakan or Persian lambswool coat. They used the skins of unborn (or just born) lambs to make these. The car in the picture is not an Audi. It’s a Fiat Croma from the late 1980’s and I guess it’s the same one that is still in the garage!

My mother had a black Astrakhan coat. I remember it well for its distinct texture and pattern. I don't think she would have bought it if she knew where it came from. I didn't know until I read your comment.

High fellows, what a groovy video. Loved that this lady was a cat lady. Good to see the other half of the videos back in the picture. Welcome back Remon. I believe the nest in the entry way was a swallow nest. The same type of birds portrayed on the wall next to the nest. These small birds bring small balls of mud and connect them all together to build their homes. Similar to an adobe brick (mud and straw) pad. Like you would see in NM and Old Mexico. What an unusual place for the nest to be considering it is inside the home. However, I am thinking that the entry way was closed in at one time. And the swallow nest was already there. I think all of the photos of the man and woman placed together were husband and wife. If the man standing in front of the car with her was a different man. It could have been her brother and her nephew sitting on the car. The couple were together in almost every photo we observed. And that same man was in photos noticeable from middle aged up. I believe he passed away and she did eventually pass from old age. God bless her soul.. A battery of a car can die within 2 weeks without being started in order to charge it.. May have been the reason didn't start.. But who really knows? God bless her soul! Just my thoughts. Just another amazing video by two of the very best (in every practical way) abandoned explorers. What I missed that you didn't say in this video was, "indeed, indeed".😁 I really enjoyed this house. It was almost like they were on a long vacation somewhere. So much left. I don't understand why people argue over stuff. Just take the photos that you want, donate what you don't want & sell all the rest to split the proceeds 50/50 if there isn't a will.
