This is mind-blowing! The Sheena and Black Sheep showdown showed how Carmen really was the finest pickpocket of her class…it would’ve made the episode way smoother…this video will be cherished!!

I totally agree with you most definitely Sheena and Carmen have an epic big sister and little sister epic cat dog epic Brawl show down and they have the same sibling Rivalry as Harry Potters Aunt. and Mother as well as Cinderella and her step Siblings and barely lethal Megan and heather and Cheetah and Wonder women as well as Cassanadra and Rapunzel . and some of them reconciled and some didnt and I feel bad for Gray he wanted his classmates and friends to come together and reconcile if Shadowsan and his older brother Reconcile Why not them and Since DIsney channel showed the different I wonder what would the scene for Gray and Sheena would be when she was Handcuffed and Deep Down probaby feels Bad that he couldnt help Sheena Maybe carmen can help Sheena like Wonder women did for Mayfly . they should makes comics of this

The scenes of Carmen exploring Morocco shouldn't have been cut. Especially the scene of her feeding not one but TWO stray dogs with the piece of food she stole. (Love the Aladdin reference) It really helped show that despite being raised to be a thief on an island full of criminals, she was kind-hearted and empathetic from the start. I know we got the scene of her saving the archaeologist, and that was supposed to be her hero moment. But it's the small stuff that really help cement her personality. Also the fight scene between Sheena and Black sheep was just.... *chefs kiss*

I agree about cementing her personality, but I get why it was cut. After all, she did say "sightsee later." So it makes sense.

What a shame that these were cut. Specially the Sheena and Black sheep showdown. I've read the book and I thought the extra material was just some extra insight on her early life that didnt really meant much except for some nice things, so this is really a surprise.

I would’ve liked to see an interaction between Player and Chase. Since Player is from Canada, maybe he’d start talking in French. I imagine the conversation would go something like this: Player: So… does your work take you to Poitiers often? Chase (momentarily thrown): I… I am not at liberty to say. Player (jokingly impish): No matter… I’ll get the answers I need in the end.

That would have been nice, also I would have liked to have seen an in-person interaction between Player and Chief Fraser as well...and the final episode should have really had Player to be the one to save Carmen in the end showing that Player meant more to her than anyone else...because he's the one who started this and he's gonna end it too...and not just with the doll after hugging her...but with something else...with him pulling not only a Wade Load for real this time, but also a Ron Stoppable by asking Carmen to reveal the one thing she knows about him that no one else knows besides us the viewer...his real first name...and we do know what his first name is, even though it was never outright said...they hinted at it both via his design, personality and his skills. Conversation goes like this Player: Carmen, I get you've flipped your lid.... Carmen: (laughs at pun) Player:....but I want you to tell everyone my first name. Carmen (stunned as she's starting to regain herself): are..are...you.... Player: yes, I'm sure. Carmen: You're Calvin, my Caped Camera Kid brother. Player: Not Bad for a Junior Detective, huh? Carmen: You always know how to pull me back when I'm at the end of my rope...and it's anyone's guess what's at the end of yours. Also this... Chief: Are those two always like this? Shadowson: Yes. Zack: You should see their "if Carmen ever reformed V.I.L.E. as a training project of A.C.M.E's employee roster. Ivy: It's full of these, here's my favorite, she hired a Beau Zo. Chief (tries not to laugh but fails miserably and makes her own jokes): Now if you're not past your brime, A.C.M.E. stops the bad guys just in time, I hope you enjoyed my rhyme.

I remember reading some of these scenes from the Carmen Sandiego novel a while ago so seeing this was amazing! The showdown with Tigress, more Graham and Black Sheep, more context! Wish they kept some of these in!

I'm so glad these clips were found. I just wish we could have the English dub, too. And if the whole show wasn't good enough for me to start shipping RedCrackle, these clips are surely enough. The showdown between Black Sheep and Sheena was awesome! It perfectly shows how Black Sheep truly is totally the best pickpocket in her class and how Sheena just cheats. And this is why Carmen is better than Tigress. Also the scene where Black Sheep gives the bread she stole to two dogs even though she was hungry, it was showcasing that she was going to be noble thief and it also shows how kind Carmen is towards the poor. Overall I loved these scenes and I hope one day the three original episodes of becoming Carmen Sandiego get re-uploaded.

They were best friends....then became enemies....then became friends again....then back to being enemies...then became friends again because Carmen was brainwashed by VILE....Then became enemies again for a short time when Carmen was still under VILE's control and he wanted to help her.....and back to being friends again. Gosh! They have so much potential

There were a lot of Arabian Nights references in this episode. Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves is directly mentioned by Carmen as how V.I.L.E. operates.

They both said they think of each other like siblings so- 🤮 Remember this series is about Carmen as a person and her relationships to everyone. If there is any serious shipping here it's with her A.C.M.E. partners...and it follows the old games, Earth show and PBS game shows in terms of how it is to be. Carmen's relationships are as follows. Tigress- big sis Crackle- big bro Mole & Goat- Friends Mime Bomb- First Enemy Malestrom- Worst Enemy Cleo & Dr. Bellum: Teachers Suhara- Dadosan Brundt- "Ante" (initially thought to be adoptive mom, but revealed not to be) Chief Fraser- Mom Jules- BFF Player- best bro Zack & Ivy- her kids Chase- Partner in both senses of the word as eventually he becomes A.C.M.E's second Carmen before she disappears and he's the only one also has to take a break at that time, Dad to Zack and Ivy. If you're wondering why Carmen would end up with Devinaux in the end...it's a pun about why she does this stuff....for the *Chase*

@@Superlad9494 Bro, maybe a little too much information. lol. RedCrackle would've been a wholesome ship aswell, especially near the end when Gray just wanted Carmen to be happy and let her go. The only time they were really mentioned as siblings was near the beginning. Let us be in our corner of how we understood their relationship, we all can process the information this show gives us differently. No need to go correcting everyone on something that wasn't really clarified canonically. All love towards ya of course, theres not enough Carmen Sandiego fans out here that tries to take note of all the details. I respect it.

@@HeidiCharlesLeon It was pretty clear from the writing though that Carmen, even when she spoke to Crackle throughout the show still thought of him like an older brother and Crackle still thought of her like a sister. The relationship never really changed. I mean you can like the ship possibilities, but it was pretty clear that if you've been a fan of this franchise since the PBS/Fox days and grew up on the computer games released between 1995 and 2001 (even though the series started in 1985) and the 2010 online game...you can see a common pattern about how this show is loaded with franchise history gags and characters...and how much references they especially make to the 1990's PBS Gameshows and 1994 computer game that for everyone's sanity (including Carmen's) aired as a Saturday morning cartoon because of it's difficulty being worse than Treasures of Knowledge...and that's a pretty hard one to beat too. Carmen ending up with Chase in most cases is a double pun...one about "the thrill of it" and it's also a round on the PBS edition of World.

I haven’t seen this much alternative scenes and storylines since I watch the Alternate Universe Mode of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse! Now I wish all this was in a version but in English!!! I assumed the show was a Netflix original, so it was originally Disney then got altered for a Netflix version?

No it's a Netflix original, Disney for once aired the uncut version, because Netflix wanted more "event cuts" straight from Capiazzi's mouth...which he admits was a huge "Miss Take" and getting a Batman writer/showrunner is the best option you can get for Carmen Sandiego.
