After being in and out of hospitals my whole life, I have to say, seeing all the old equipment and the way that they stored the blood samples, is quite fascinating! What makes me infuriated, however, is when they leave behind old patient records. That hospital is definitely violating HIPAA laws by doing that. However, at the time this hospital was running, these privacy laws were not put into effect. Thank you so much for all the amazing explores! Please be careful and let us know what happened with the cops outside! Be safe! And say hi to Kristi for us!

It made me very happy when you stopped to point out EXACTLY All of the same things that I love to see in these hospital explores. Most people take no interest and pan over them all so quickly that they can't be seen clearly even by pausing and going through frame by frame. It's extremely frustrating and quite torturous to only get a blurred glance and I've unsubscribed from 2 or 3 because of it. You have a similar eye with even the obscure and random things so getting a close look in each video is always very satisfying for me. There have been a few explores where I've found myself saying "Man, I wish Rob would get a hold of this place-this kid is missing Everything!!" You did one asylum explore that had tons and tons of white metal bedside tables with one shelving surface toward the bottom. Very simple design with metal bolts holding it together under the table top and at the shelving edges along the legs. They were scattered in groups throughout the entire hospital, and after a while I realized that I actually *have* that Exact table!! I hit pause on several of your clear shots and scrutinized the hardware, their placement on its structure, as well as the overall design and confirmed that indeed what I have came from some hospital institution 100+ yrs ago. Where I found mine was from a very scary closet in the basement laundry room of my 1920's apt. building. There's a seriously malevolent tale attached to that closet-but long story short I made sure nothing unsavory "tagged along" by only focusing on what a magnificent warhorse piece of furniture it is. [Kinda like telling it it's a good boy until it believed it. :) ] It was a paint storage closet with no door that for no logical reason had a very dangerous and putrid smell that would randomly emit from it that felt like a presence rather than simply a horrific stench. I've never experienced anything like it!! I was unreasonably terrified while doing it, but I knew the table needed to be rescued without knowing anything of its history. Thank you for helping me discover exactly what it is. I do hope you get your cabinet one day. Honestly, I hope it's beat to shit and you rescue it from a dump or building slated for demo etc. because it's just so satisfying to stand back and admire the long and highly rewarding venture that is restoration. I've done it myself a few times and they are to this day my favorite pieces! Just sending my appreciation for your detailed eye. Thank you! Be safe out there.

I’ve said it before but I admire your respect for the place, especially as they left confidential documents!! And God what a waste of books! As a bookworm I couldn’t stand to see all those books just sat there rotting....Love from England. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 As you would say- dope video!💪🏻💪🏻

A little x-ray 101 if anyone is interested. The little x-ray unit is for x-raying skulls and facial bones mostly, but can be used in a pinch to x-ray the upper limb. Rob, you're right about those plates, they hold the x-ray film, and the body part is then put on top of the plate to be x-rayed. that is then either manually processed in a dark room or put through an automatic processor - either way it's similar to photography. Most facilities are digital now so don't use film any more, but there are still some who haven't made the jump yet.

That was a neat place! Not all trashed by vandals. Graet production work with the music low in the background, very relaxing to watch at the end of the day. I remember light fixtures and floors like that from school when I was a kid. As to the cops, I don't really like most of them either and that is from working with them for 20 years. Hope you got out of there without charges.

I wonder what Bryan and Michael of TPP would think of that chair cruisin' instead of chillin'? Nice to see a place untouched by taggers; just imagine, not a single penis! At least all that peeling paint prevented me from my usual discomfort, even when you marveled over the crank beds. My first experience with hospitals was being hit by a car and spending my fifth birthday in one---and it had those manually cranked beds. All too many visits for surgery and recovery with many thanks to the people who came up with the patient controlled electrically operated models of today. You had to signal a nurse to adjust those old ones! Interesting explore, Robb and crew.
