I have to say Lesley, you, Jordy, and William have been to some really amazing places, and this one is in the top ten. Love the editing, and the narrative, you have really grown as a u-tuber. Your videos are interesting, you go to really cool places, and we always get to see the inside. You are calm, (handsome), respectful of the property, and relevant to many ages of people. Well done fellas, keep up the good work. Best of luck to you! ;)

Hi again, Lesley, In this comment I want to give some short information about the aircraft, you showed us: The Paratrooper aircraft is a Nord 2501 Noratlas with this very special connected double tail section. It was built in the 1950's. There is still one flying example existing of this aircraft type. It could be seen at the Hamburg airport days in August 21-23 of the year 2015, and I must say it is an amazing aircraft. The largest aircraft, you visited, is a Lockheed P2V-5F Neptune with two enormous four bladed piston engines ( 3500 horsepower, 18 cyl.) and two Westinghouse J-34-WE34 Jet Engines, which is also a very unusual feature. It was in operation approximately in the late fifties to the sixties of the last century and was a multi purpose plane. There existed a considerable number of variations of that plane. The third aircraft, the smallest one, is mostly a jet trainer. It is a magister fouga aircraft. It was also operated for military purposes during the fifties and sixties and has characteristic loud high pitched whistling jet engines. (Source: Wikipedia) Just about a year ago there was another very well known group of urbex people there ("exploring with Josh"). They also made an excellent video on KZbin. - Kind regards and best wishes. Stay safe!

Hi Lesley and William, It seemed to be very hard work to explore these planes, especially ihe big one, when I watched You crawling from the back part to the front of the inside. Wow - awsome! - I liked your excitement when you looked at the cockpit. - It actually is really very exciting, - especially when you are invited by the captain to visit the cockpit during a flight. - I had many years ago sometimes this unique experience. Of course I have to say that I love flying. - But due to safety regulations cockpit visits are strictly forbidden nowadays. - So once again you made a wonderful video, and it is certainly hardly unimaginable what these crews might have experienced during their missions. I wish you as always all the best and safe explores, and i am very much looking forward to your next video, hopefully then once again also with your adorable brother Jordy. - How is your father at the moment? - Kindest regards.

My dad was a Gooney Bird pilot in WWII! He was there on DDay helping to fly the 101st in, flew seven European missions, flew supplies in to Easy Company of the 101st during the Battle of the Bulge in Bastogne. He’s mentioned in the book ‘The Longest Day’. Our dad were something else, weren’t they?

The 1st plane you climbed into is a Fairchild C119 cargo plane sometimes called the Flying Boxcar. The US Navy & Marines called them an R4Q or an (Aw F$%K you). The V tailed fighter jet trainer is French and being an American I am not too familiar with them but I think its called a "Magister". The bigger plane you crawled through is a P2V "Neptune made by Lockheed. It was a Navy Patrol or anti submarine patrol craft. The "Neptune was fast for its time (over 380Kts) and had a long range and loiter time. Its got a big surface radar dome underneath and dropped sonar buoys ( you can see the diagonal racks for the sonar buoys in the aft of the airframe) to pinpoint the location of cold war subs. Its not a toilet but a Hydraulic fluid tank. I enjoyed this Video.
