Some CorningWare that says "Made in USA" , but does not say "microwave safe" is very vintage, very rare and worth a small fortune. Great find. The item you showed while looking at the min cast iron pieces, goes to the breakfast sandwich maker that you showed just before the mini cast iron and you weren't sure what it was. I know because I have one and use it quite often.

Amber you nailed it! The clear glass with white basket inside is a water filter. It separates the water from the lettuce, so your lettuce doesn't get soggy. Never saw it with a glass bowl. Very nice!

It looks like this house was professionally packed. Movers put bags in boxes just in case the box fails, so the stuff does not fall all over the place - it's all contained in the bag. Also, those expensive body washes, if they still smell good/the fragrance smells right, they're still good. Maybe just add them to the yardsale? For $1 each, people will buy them without question.

I hope you put Clear Anchor bowl, clear mixing cups, pour over coffee pot, any copper cooking utensil or pots & the sous vide pot. She was a real estate agent, most of that was probably used for home staging. In new housing development and condo's they set up the display homes just like somebody is living there, complete with clothing in the closet. That jewellery might have come with that box. When I moved several years ago I put plastic around my boxes to keep water and bugs out. Did not work too well. Since then I have been using plastic toats, they keep bugs, and mice from getting inside. It also helps to keep water out. The toats don't wear out and will stay nice for several years. Brody is looking so cute and seems pretty chill. I enjoy your posts so much. I do have a question, not that is any of my business but I see a young man with you several times and he looks a lot like you. Is he possibly your brother?

This has been an awesome storage locker find. I have a lot of Corning Ware and Longenberger baskets. I was on FB last night when an ad for Corning Ware popped up. I wrote down the prices for the pictured dishes shown. I couldn't believe the prices! They had one Longenberger cracker basket pop up that went for $43! If anyone has any of these items hang onto them! I love the bigger cookie jars but what took my breath away was the globe. Don't sell that!!!! Keep that for yourself and pass it down to Broly. That is going to be worth a lot of money someday!!

Just finished watching the last episode of millionaire unit. Fyi...a few of the garment bags you opened were from Hecht's. This was a long time department store in the Baltimore metro area. The store went out of business in 2006 when it was bought by Macy's. So some of those new with tags items are close to being "vintage" new with tags. The owner has been hoarding for a very long time. Can't even imagine the cost of packing up all that stuff.

one possible reason for so much stuff that is practically new and packed so carefully and from several years back is it was used to stage homes for showings or in Display houses for new developments. Set up some books, pictures, appliances, some clothe etc through out to give an idea of how a buyers home my look.

Just a note for why everything was either wrapped in plastic in a box or a box wrapped in plastic, its likely the person was concerned about water damage for whatever reason. Could be the location, could be they've experienced flooding in the past that damaged or ruined things packed away, could be they heard horror stories about unkempt storage facilities.. either way my bet was they wanted to ensure things didn't get ruined in the event of a leak or potential water issues since boxes get gross and soggy and can destroy the things kept in them if not careful. I agree with another commenter in that they likely took great care of their things, even the things they seemed to deem less valuable, and treated their things with the great care they desired when packing them away.
