Be careful on those old Pings, a Ping 1-A is not the same as a Ping 1A, the 1-A is the re-release, people often try to sell1-A's as if they're 1959 1A's and that's a totally different animal. I once saw a guy pay over 2 grand for a 1-A, which is stupid even for an original 1959 1A, not saying your guy is out to con you, I have just seen many people get hosed on old Ping putters and neither the buyer or seller had any idea.
