A new discovery at the Ocean Picture Stone quarry leads to a seam of blue we never imagined we would see. This seam which we have named the "Dayna Blue" after my wife Dayna who discovered it, take blue to a whole other level. I' m impressed with the color balance in Dan's videos. No matter the light, colors never look washed out or over-saturated. Light-color plays a big part in how a gem looks, and here they always look good.

Haven't watched the whole video, haven't heard him name the mineral, but it looks like amethyst Just north and a bit east of Thunder Bay Ontario there is megatons of amethyst, so much you can see it on Google maps, big blue areas I've always wanted to go up and get me some purdy rock claims, that would be this old prospectors pick for a claim 40 acre claims are cheap in Ontario, $400 per year and you don't have to spend $400 a year on testing, as they demand Then just use it as a camp occasionally (I don't sell claims, just guide folks to their dreams of heaven on earth)

Smiling! Well sir looks like your wife found the cream of the crop as they say. Wish we had rock like that in north west Arkansas. My dad always said if you could sell the rocks in Arkansas you could get rich. Now they have tones of native stone field rock they use in fireplaces, and other things every ware, sad he didn't live long enough to see it. Do enjoy your channel!
