I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. I had the pleasure of meeting David when he performed in Utica NY several years ago. (He gives great hugs.) I am still amazed at his talent and charm. He is very personable, down-to-earth, and fascinating. I sat and watched every slight of hand, etc. He was right in the audience near me performing an illusion, and I was mesmerized. I am now 66 and have seen him 2 more times, and still sit in awe! I will continue to attend his performances, anytime he is here in upstate NY. Thank you to David Copperfield for sharing his illusions!🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

As a paraprofessional librarian I appreciate the magicians who found books there to get information about their future craft. Considering how many are trying to close down libraries. They forget it is a FREE source of information for EVERYONE. Not just books. Free access to computers, audio video materials, programs for all ages and various interests, etc. Thank you for the shout-out.🙋🏾🤗

What a great interview - I really appreciated how candid and relaxed he was. You can really tell he loves inventing and working on challenging problems in his field. I went to one of his shows when I was a kid, and got an autograph. I still remember it to this day.

Kevin - you let the interviewee speak, and that is so essential, and yet most interviewers fail to do that. True, the audio engineering is slightly lacking, but content trumps tech issues. Next time your engineer should be careful about setting the preamps so high on his condenser microphones. Perhaps try some attenuation on a lapel mic. And use a separate floor mic to pic up audience response, and blend in as needed.

You should get Josh Topolski and/or Nilay Patel on an episode, Kevin! The Verge's seemingly sudden entrance to tech journalism, and with such quality content, is definitely something I'd like to hear more insight on.
