I definitely see a more commercial application of this available at sephora or ulta where you use the machine and leave with the perfect bottle of foundation. That would be a gamechanger. My only issue is I care more about formula more than getting an exact color match.

The ultimate goal would probably be to get your skincolor and choose from different formulas and packaging right at the store and bring a bottle of the perfect fundation home with you. And maybe make it refillable. That would be so great if every bigger store had this in the future.

This really is super cool! Specially for darker skin tones that struggle to find their perfect shades. I had hoped when the lipstick mixing machines came out that a foundation version would soon hit the market. Hopefully it's a big enough hit that the company can grow into having different finishes and coverages too.

I think I'm going to love this! My daughter and I have very fluctuating skintones, and we are quite different in skintone as I'm quite fair like you, but she is more like her dad with her lil Filipina tan, especially in the summer, but in winter she has the most beautiful pale olive skin. I'm putting money aside starting today!

Yeah what's cool about it is the whole family can share. Everyone can have their own profile in the machine to save the colors or just scan everytime. Just have to refill the bottles as they empty.

I am also half Filipina and I cannot tell you how hard it is to find foundations for my skin. ESPECIALLY for light olive skin. It use to be an actually nightmare, but thankfully, more brands have been releasing pale olive toned makeup. Good luck to you and your daughter!

I have no idea what color I am, not one of my foundations or concealers is my actual correct shade. It's like I've never seen my self 😂😂😂 I can't believe how perfectly it matched and created your absolute perfect shade. Definitely worth the money. I know I've seen videos where people go to the Laneige store in Korea and they match & make your perfect shade of foundation right there. This will be a game changer for makeup artists and regular people like me

I would buy this if I had the money even if I don't wear foundation as much anymore just because someone told me pale olive foundations are easier to find than ones for black people. I have not found my shade ever unless it's some niche brand that happens to have a random shade or it's more expensive, which I can't afford. Pale olive people unite!

Thanks so much! I do have a recent short on this. My hair stylist usually only bleaches my roots but my ends were pretty brassy so she hit them with a little bleach this time around and toned it all.

It’s basically the same thing they use for matching paint colors but without as many options. In paint at least you have options for coverage and shine. Don’t think the price point should raise or else that’s way too much for just matching foundation. Plus the actual foundation cost, the products for filling it up and cleaning and containers and updates etc.. I’d rather just buy the same foundation I usually use in my shades if that’s the case. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a great match that just blows me away or different finishes and viscosity of foundation. Ig if you’re a pro MUA who has an established clientele OR you’re carrying around 3 bottles of foundation to match your skin tone… but, even then it’s not going to work for everyone, bc of oiliness, sheerness and the fact it’s not amazing at matches. It seems like a decent product. Let’s hope they improve the algorithm to paint matching and allowing more customization to have a warmer or cooler tone (which they could show examples of using screenshots of your face with the tone adjustments for warmth or coolness) and change between bases (the white component) to make it better for different skin types and coverage. That would justify the extra cost. However, that cost should solely depend upon what options of products you choose to buy, not the base cost for the printer, itself.

Thank you so much. My friend does my color every 6 weeks. I definitely lose the toner before the 6 weeks are up. It probably fades the most around 4/5 weeks. I use purple shampoo every wash and shampoo 2x per week.
