This was the set I started with and I was not a fan of the stability as a beginner but I was impressed with the quality for the value! Also the fish names and stamps are what XCOM discs used to be branded as.

I got this set as a starter set and i honestly love how they play! Im a new player but the feel of the disc have a higher quality then other starter sets I have come across. Love the dual set so my wife and I can learn the game together.

Saw the XCom colors for baseplastic directly! Bagging a Premium or Glow Premium XPT2/Griffon (nice looking stamp on the glow!), holds lines well if not in a headwind. Bought it when the Fuse disagreed when to flip and not, not looked back yet =)

Have you tried the Remix starter set yet? It’s MVPs Amazon brand. MVP plastic for 1/3 of the price of a MVP brand disc. And the molds are basically mint, tsa and mvp molds

I will say this. This is a great starter set for you guys. Its not a hood starter set for real beginners unless they love forehands. These are too stable (outside of the putter) for beginners. A perfect beginner set would be someyhing like a P2, Uplink, River Opto Air
