How is the printed gear holding up?

Well it's a little early to tell, but it has survived some mishaps with the chain jumping off that could have been disastrous, but instead it kept on ticking. So I'm hopeful! If/when it fails, it will be easy to print another one with the weak spots reinforced.

Hi Dan, I have a question about your Hot Wire Foam Cutter -- (pardon the OT) -- are you passing DC current through the threaded rod or Low Voltage AC current? I love the design of this muller.

@@dansw0rkshop Thanks for such a quick reply!! I'm about to build. I literally have threaded rod, transformer (Jacob's Online) and other supplies on my living room floor! Wife's outta town for the weekend. I gotta hurry. ;-)
