Its a lot of fun and a good challenge. 1.0 has given the ability to customize difficulty and you can also save/load manually now (EA was save on exit only). Its def worth checking out. I have about a dozen episodes starting from the beginning of the game if you're curious.

Weird to find a Nabatean agriculture book here... I guess the explorers needed lots of reading material on their voyage. I suppose there could be similarities between this biome and that of southern Jordan, but I doubt they would have known that when they set out! Haha!

I'd love to see the vids you made at the start, this looks like an awesome game to play solo :) I really do love the crafting options but the time factor is a bit of a hesitation- those of us who are busy still parenting can't always take massive chunks of time out for game play. I love watching you exploring, I'm absolutely the nerd that would take all the time out to read the books and get totally familiar with the history and anthropology , heheh

This is a very interesting game. I’m not sure it’s for me, but I love when studio’s put together some more in depth interactive systems like this. Green Hell is another interesting one. I just am not sure I have the patience for them. 😂

Yeah some of the times seem like they could be tuned a bit. But for most things the timer gets lower once you level up your skill in it

You'd need a huge base to get all of the crafting stations down and getting the resources for that kind of build would be a huge grind. This isn't the type of game where you can build a base in one sitting. It would take days since every time you chop a tree and make building kits, time is flying by and your hunger/thrist will increase and you'll have to take breaks for food and all that stuff.

I wouldn't mind seeing you play more of this... IF you slow down a bit man! xD You bumrushed into EVERYTHING. It made me laugh when you were looking at the shark on the map one second... and was underwater WITH the shark, beat up as you were, the next. If you're willing to take your time and not play like 'Welp, I can always revive, so actually playing like I want to live doesn't matter.', then this could be a great series to run through.

I've been playing this since you first tried it out. I wasn't sure how I'd like the gameplay due to the unique differences in the survival aspects of the game, but man was I hooked. It is NOT an easy game.... and you have to manage your resources well along with being prepared to enter new biomes.... otherwise the elements will take you out quick. If you are on the fence about this game, I encourage you to give it a shot. it is well worth your time and money. Love that you have picked it up again and looking forward to seeing more of your gameplay @GunsNerdsandSteel!

The animals are overly agressive as well and you get sick way to easily. When he walked into that spider and could not do anything but get bit, I would be so annoyed by that. Not much has changed with 1.0, I played the demo over a year ago. Kinda sad.

This game looks fun and I genuinely think this could be a fun series if you were so inclined. My only worry/thought is that on KZbin, when it gets dark, its very, very dark and it's a bit hard to follow what you're up to. But very fun idea, and I like how in-depth this seems!

Kind of mixed. Overall I enjoyed it but I find that when I'm learning a new survival game, it's often challenging and frustrating. Once you learn the ropes a little bit, things get more enjoyable!
