The pen probably has an interesting tactile feel; with the combination of the ebonite and mother of peart. My Gioia Alleria also has the threads at the distal end of the grip. I must say, it's not a problem for me. I discovered a brand of Italian pens that was previously unknown to me; Molteni. I was shown it, at the recent pen show. It had a metal converter that matched the color and the design of the pen. I've never seen anything like it. I do hope that Santini solves the problem of the sharp accent band. Attention to detail is so important in pen design. Thank you for showing it to us.
