I bought this Moonman recently because the shape looked comfortable to me. I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by it. I reach for it often. The Magnum looks amazing. Lucky you :)

They are also available with a Hand finished nib for a few extra bucks which I ordered in medium and its one of the nicest nibs out of the box that Ive used. I have an orignal 360 too and its nib is only marginally nicer to be honest!

Agree 100%! And the Moonman can be smoothed out and made wetter and is an incredible value.

Y'know, when I saw this pen, I thought, "Gah, another cheap knock off. No way am I going to fall for this one." Then I saw your review. Your amazing review. Great review! The V60 just arrived today in the Post. It's great. I am not disappointed. Thank you for the _Shoot_Out_. You were not fooling!

I have swapped out 2 of the ,3 V60 I have to #6 Fude , socked in warm water for a bit and slowly worked the nib and feed out changed nib only , no problem . I have 2 Pineider tempi moderni and 3 V60 that I have in a art fountain pens set leather case I use , I like it a lot and find them all pleasant to draw with . The Pineider are outstanding .

Very clear and informative shootout, Stephen. Thank you. Recently bought the Moonman in yellow, mostly for its looks (ok, I'm shallow), knowing the original is no longer made and that buying the wanna-be will not prevent sales of the Omas pen by the company. The metal trim is a bit "grabby", the clip is stiff, but otherwise it is decent performer. It does not claim to be an Omas, so the issue of counterfeiting is inapplicable. Were the Omas company re-animated and the 360 made once again, would I consider getting one? In view of the zombie P51 and the Esterbrook pens sold new today as examples, I think not.

This has been a very useful review and comparison. I think I will wait for the larger version of the V60. Hopefully it will have a #8 nib attached. I do own the 360 ballpoint and have hoped to get a companion fountain pen. The 360 is way out of my reach but this V60, actually the larger version will be a welcome addition.

Swapped out the original for a Bock #6 and it works great! JOWO may have some issues as it's shaped a bit differently.
