Ever heard of Lake St. Clair? It’s huge and you cannot see across it. I fish it all the time and this very well could be the view from the north looking directly south into the mouth of the Detroit River. Looking south, if the director panned left just slightly the Detroit skyline, which is barely visible from that spot anyway, would disappear. That being said, I have no idea if that scene was shot on LSC, but, yes, Detroit does in fact bump uglies with a big-ass lake.
