This is the knot I use very day. I have used the Windsor knot too, but have found this impractical with broader ties. Apart from this I quite like the asymmetrical nature of 4-in-Hand.

The four in hand is a good knot and depending on the occasion, a person might use a different knot. A Windsor knot is for a more formal occasion, but a lot of people get by with a four in hand knot. The important thing is that you wear a tie and you are comfortable and confident wearing it. 🙂

I use the 4-in-hand for everyday use. If i am going more formal i go for the Windsor know (Double breasted suits or similar)
