Thanks for watching. I appreciate it. The RXSG rope is a 3.4 oz cable. I didn't mention that in the video and was reminded of that. The 3.4 oz cable is their standard rope but you can get other weights. It's heavier than the other three ropes. These ropes are not rank-ordered from best to worst. I'm a big fan of all four ropes. You can find the ropes at the links below. Please don't forget to subscribe and share the channel with your friends. Jump Rope to Freedom. Rope 1: www.crossrope.com/jumpropevet - search for "Crossrope Bolt" Rope 2: amzn.to/3mU7ZiB Rope 3: www.rhythmropeusa.com/ Rope 4: amzn.to/3BXp01T or www.rxsmartgear.com/jump-ropes/the-original-rx/ - if you buy from the Amazon link, you can only get the 9.0 ft cable. If you buy from the website, you can get a cable adjusted to your height.

Just getting back into jumping rope/ solo boxing training and easing into it. Right now I have a jump rope and a set of egg weights. I just wanted to say I really enjoyed this (and your other videos that led me to this one) and feel much better about my decision to get back into it!

I should also mention that when you say you are using a RX Black Ops rope, that doesn't tell me much. Black Ops is only referring to the color of the handles, it has nothing to do with the weight of the rope. I have 4 sets of Black Op handles with 4 different weighted ropes attached to each. Perhaps you should of mentioned that you were using their 3.4 oz. cable, and that other lighter options are available. All that being said, I am a huge fan, thank you for everything you do!! Terry

In regards to your RX comments you mentioned that your Black Ops rope was on the heavy side compared to the others. Your particular rope came with their 3.4 oz. buff cable I believe. I would also mention that this rope can be ordered with any weight cable you want. I have 4 RX ropes ranging from 4.1oz. down to 1.8 oz. So if the 3.4 oz. seems too heavy just order their 2.6 oz cable for $16, and attach that one. RX cables also come in 2"length increments, so you can get your perfect size and avoid having to tie knots in your steel cable. I'm guessing you ordered their 9' rope, hence the two knots I noticed. Each knot takes up about 3" of length. So if you had a 8'6" rope with no knots this would also help reduce the weight of the rope. Just my thoughts! Terry

Really like the black and yellow combination on your Rhythm Rope. It looks like I waited too long to purchase one, as the current colors they offer are very limited.

Black and yellow like Wiz Khalifa. Hopefully they get more color ways in stock. 💪🏽💯

Ay man. Can you do an updated review for 2023-2024, or do you still feel these are the best 4?
@JumpRopeVeteran Жыл бұрын
I usually do an overall top five each year, but that's a good idea. I think that these four are still great choices.

Dont forget to mention how ergonomic the grip is. If u use pistol grip with split toe shoes u will be able to truly master arch positions. Iam a boxer, i cant stress that enough for the longevity of the sport

Hi JRV. I've recently come across your channel and really love your content. I'm only just got into skipping and wondering what jump rope and mat you would recommend buying. I'm from the UK so many of your US ropes are not available here unfortunately. Thank you and keep up the great content

As a newbie, now i use kettler rope in 2 different series. affordable price and so far more than enough to learn jump rope from the basic. Next in the future when i mastered all basic skill, i want to have crossrope get lean set. When the money is ready off course, hehe..🤣🤣🤣

I don't have any boxing experience so I am just throwing an idea out here. But wouldn't it help a boxer out if they applied the principles you've mentioned but occasionally switched to slightly heaveir rope such as 1/4 crossrope. Get the endurance with some strength?
@JumpRopeVeteran3 жыл бұрын
That would work. The RXSG rope is .5 oz lighter than the .25 lb rope. Almost any rope will help with the skills necessary to be a good boxer.
@montieeaster98833 жыл бұрын
as a person who use to box yes! The heavy rope is added at the middle or end of the workout. Speed rope at the beginning.

Do you have jumbo or the regular sized one ? Trying to see if the regular is big enough size just for outside or in garage

Mob, I have a regular sized one. That's all I need, but if you like to move around more, a bigger mat may be good for you. JRTF. 💯🔥

How much does the RythmRope weigh? I tried to contact him, but got no answer.

Miki, thank you for watching. I believe the cord is just over an ounce. The handles are fairly light but weight enough to provide sufficient feedback. JRTF. 💪🏾
