You obviously don't need a clown like me to say so, but your playing is seriously so smooth. No wasted motion, I'm envious. Something to aspire too. Great lesson.
@GuitarversumSandraSherman4 жыл бұрын
I like Clowns! My favorite is Puddles Pity Party - awesome singer :-) Kidding aside, thanks for your kind words. The main goal is to move your hands as little as possible. The less movement, the smoother and faster things become.

Great lesson! I would only suggest learning it with fewer reaching up and down the neck, like the intro of C-7 on the "A" string on the 3rd fret. Also starting the melody of the B-flat on the "D" string on the 7th fret. And the last part of the phrase starting with F# at the "B" string at the 7th fret, etc. It makes an easier pattern keeping your hand in a neutral position with the phrase.

I like your charts, they are just like the jazz guy at my local music store used to write. he had claimed to be in a wedding band with DiMeola in the 70s they played a lot of bopped versions of Bossa, back then I think Sinatra recorded with Jobim so everybody wanted to hear it!

Sandra. Nice slow version of this classic. I have smaller hands and those stretches on the original with Bbma7 Gm11, Abm11, Am4 is hard on my hand. You are approaching that differently. please explain. Thank you. What type of guitar are you playing. Barry
@GuitarversumSandraSherman4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can play it using the m11 chords. But most people use just the Guide Tone voicings, the way I explained in the video. As for my great. I have a video, where I show all my gear and amp settings. Just search for "Jazz guitar gear Guitarversum".
