I think what andromache means is: "why is the US importing and exporting from Mexico, when American society is racist and prejudice against Mexicans? It would seem that goes against common sense, even insofar to rub salt in the wound because the Mexican population can actually benefit from the commerce and labor exchange. However, it's continously disadvantageous for Mexicans because they are treated as second-class citizens, while Americans get to profit from their hard work." I don't believe that person meant to say that import/export isn't a correct practice. But rather, it should be done fairly and in the best interests of both parties.

That quote is from Joseph Fort Newton but people mistaking it for Isaac Newton but unfortunately the true original quote from where it originated is lost to time due to the fact that it was not in English and Joseph Fort Newton word it's actually a misquote. It's a paraphrase of the original quote that became popular and mis-attributed but the meaning itself is a common phrase in French.

@@merkai Yes it does it just isnt in the open for instance social programs' funding starts being taken by illegal immigrants since they get paid pennies on the dollar which leaves poor citizens out of luck. This can also be seen in surges of crime in neighborhoods that are predominantly housing illegal immigrants. Plus it increases the amount of hard drugs being smuggled into the us and with it comes gang violence.

@@1810jeff Sure funding gets taken from illegal immigrants, but its simply not true it leaves poor citizens out of luck. And I get that crime is more likely in neighborhoods that illegal immigrants live in, but that is because of the culture of slums (gangs), not to mention illegal immigrants are 40% less likely to commit crimes than us born citizens. Another thing is, drugs will keep coming in with open or closed borders, but the thing I take issue with is that you want to punish all of these people for the crimes of a few.
