If everything is god, then isn't each word we utter the divine, so it's not so much the mantra, but the intent behind the mantra that matters? Then, even deeper than words is the breath, and to borrow from the jewish tradition, YHWH is simply an acient sounding of breathing itself, just as a cow gors moo. So to focus on your breath is to focus on god. With awareness, your breath becomes a mantra, then the only thing to do at that point is to just worship with each breath. Would love some insight on these thoughts and hope it make sense.

This is true, but the mind is too strong initially to focus just on the breath, the utilisation of a mantra purifies the mind, then one is able to see God in all things. You can not go from 0 to 100, the mantra practice is the bridge in the vedic tradition

@@swamichidananda108 got it, so mantra is kinda like using the chatter of the mind against itself until you are able to drop it, just breath, and be in a state of samadhi?
