Four-Year-Old Daliyah Marie Arana Hits 'A Thousand Books Before Kindergarten' Reading Goal

The response time also gets smaller and your fetus will respond very quickly after a while. This shows that even unborn babies have the ability to learn. Read to your baby, thus, and ensure that her brain develops well and she starts learning even before she is born. Reading a biology textbook won’t really help, mind you, but reading any book will help develop the recognition skills and learning skills of the baby.

Hey I work for the Library system in Atlanta. We have a program called 1000 books before kindergarten to encourage reading to babies and all that good stuff. Every 200 books the kids get to choose a prize! so that maybe why they were counting.
