No matter where you study medicine, the experience will always be almost similar. It was a daunting choice to make but if I look back today, I feel really proud of myself. I wish all those going through this path and those about to cross to the other wild world of being a physician the best that life could ever give you. From a 4th Year medical student from University of Juba, South Sudan.

Looking back at these students that graduated in 2020, boy they got double slammed. Not only did they get short-changed on their last months of med school due to COVID- many had to go to the front lines as new residents that summer and into the 2020-2021 winter surge. So it sucks, but I hope it was for the better for their experience in the long run.

Congratulations Class of 2020! You did it, I wish you all the very best in your future and residency programs. You students always amaze me by how well you manage everything in life during your medical school years. Best wishes to you all!

Inspiring! Thank you for sharing this. It can be difficult to find various points of view on a medical program without having to peruse through dozens of short interview clips but this video provided exactly what I was looking for.

This documentary seemed interesting in concept, but I gave up after a few minutes of listening because the interviews were full of inarticulate students (like...like...like...) talking about their own thoughts related to their student experiences, but no real information about what medical school is like. They talk about their extracurricular activities, relationships with faculty and other students, and motivations for being in school, but nothing about the actual program and specific learning experiences. I was surprised as how little information is provided outside of these topics--and, again, how inarticulate they are!

Are people incapable of communicating anymore without using the word 'like', over and over and over again? It's so irritating and unprofessional.

People aren’t perfect. Some of them are under high stress and the last thing they’re worrying about is perfect speech. Perfect oratory is the last thing I’d care about in healthcare.
