Where does the fuel go when I fill Prado

Toyota prado 120 & 150 similar as is petrol & diesel. This is the split of fuel when filling tanks

Fourby4Diesel hey, late reply, I’ve seen the videos about removing and replacing the rear filter. Thing I’m not sure about is how the fuel moves around. Where do the different pumps move it and where does the tear filter sit in that process? Does the fuel always go through the rear filter before making it to the front one? Sorry is there is a vid on that already!

I max filled my tank an my 2016 prado diesel and after about 250km the yellow warning came on indicating I only had 30 km of fuel left . I knew it still had plenty in the tanks . I disconnected the battery for about 10 minutes and then re connected it , and thankfully it reset . The manual warns about over filling ... I won't do that again .

It would make sense for you to use more words in your title because there are so many variants of Prado for example I have 2 filler holes on my Prado diesel 2002

@@Fourby4Diesel Hey mate. I have 150 prado 2010 Tank was almost empty and fuel light start blinking but we put some deisel and it did not go! So we cleaned under bonet deisel pump filter bcz we thought its that. And filled thank half then blinking gone but returned again athen i fully filled. But now it goes half tank the fuel light blinking and i can’t put more deisel in! That little air pipe next to deisel filling hole blupping air and deisel and stops the nosel to fill. Please give your opinion

Also my fuel gauge when I filled it up just now the pump clicked 2 or 4 times and I thought that was odd as the gauge is reading 3/4 full 😳

And don’t forget that if your rear tank is still full because the jet/transfer pump is not working it is a right royal PITA to fill up the front tank as the breather hose for the front goes into the rear tank and will stop the tank breathing process, rocking the damn vehicle absolutely SUCKS!!!
