Three TRUE LEGENDS of Jazz/fusion....😢 Chuck left us to soon.

Three seasoned guitarists staying out of each others way and politely making room for everyone to shine. A real treat for the ears.

That's how a blues jam is supposed to run. I see it at the local meets - everyone gets to say their piece, musically-speaking.

True.... But none of them really took off. Sounded abit laboured. Sound quality bad as well. And I'm a fan of Carlton and Ritenour from early 70s. All there vinals

This couldn't have been from a festival in calendar year 2020. Loeb died in like 2016 or 2017, and he's still on stage at this event.....that isn't possible, but it would fit the mondo-bizzaro world we now live in today. This is probably from a festival in 2009 or 2010 or roughly that time.

Some of the greatest shows was seeing Larry Carlton and Lee Ritenour plays at the small clubs like the Roxy back in the 80's. Nathan East, one of my favorite bass players is an ageless wonder. I wish I was at the Roxy when George Benson recorded his live album with Mason on drums.

Huge fan of Fourplay here. Been listening to them since 2008! My favorite lineup has been the one with Lee Ritenour, and then followed by Chuck Loeb. Larry Carlton, while being a really great guitarist himself, is probably my least favorite.
