Round two! I'm back and ready to keep packing cracks to relive 1995 and put together a cherry Fourth Edition set. In this video I am going to rip in to a fresh vintage Booster Box from my personal collection. I'm opening two packs from the box and adding in a rando I picked up along the way. I loved back then the clear setup: Starterdecks had 20 basic lands, booster none. In mh3 playbooster i had sometimes 3-4 lands, thats too much.

Definitely a simpler time, 3-4 lands seems crazy. I haven't opened any yet, is that a guaranteed land, plus a full art, an non-basic and what else?

There is definitely some commonality to the order of cards in these older sets. Regardless of starter versus booster they always start from the same commons/uncommons/rares sheets out of the printing presses there was bound to be some order that survives whatever randomizing they attempted to put into the packing process. True randomness is a difficult thing to pull off, if not impossible to truly pull off, particularly when applied to physical cardboard in 1995.

I guess in the back of my mind I knew that the randomization wasn't like todays. But I think my surprise was more that I encountered it in my very first two videos/packs opened. I would have expected maybe seeing it 20-30 vids in. Probably would not noticing it at that point. But an interesting surprise.

What did you use to animate your intro?

It was a combo. I used photoshop and real packs to get images, then removed the background. I then used an AI cartoonifier using the images to make new images. I then used Adobe After Effects to animate. Bought a custom font and then merged it all in DaVinci Resolve. I knew none of these before I started, all KZbin "how-to" vids.

I sure can't. Store front is not complete yet and probably won't be until I have sufficient overstock of the cards to warrant completing the setup. That said, it'll probably not contain sealed product until I have completed the full set and would then be liquidating my left over boosters.
