good to see someone riding within their limits and progressing slowly and surely.

Which Ducati(s) do you have?

Hi from a 62YOSWM in U.S.A. Near D.C. I really enjoy your Vids. My Dad that was my Best Friend used to tell me when I raced “On the Gas, or On the Brakes” anything else & your just coasting. & no one wins a race by just “Coasting” but stay safe. Wide open on the Gas & Braking fast can be dangerous

Thanks... love hearing your dad was your best friend. Fast and safe is the goal!

Stace, I haven’t seen your thoughts on how the bike fits you. Is it tall for you? How’s the reach? Does she run hot? Awesome footage. I’ve enjoyed watching the track content.
@staceonwheels2 ай бұрын
Thanks Kim! She is tall... I can only reach two tippie toes, or if I slide off a bit, I can get a foot down. Climbing on without the side stand down is very awkward! But it doesn't worry me much. She doesn't run hot at all... I've only seen about 70 C (maybe the sensor is dodgy?), but my SuperSport hit 115C once on the same track!

Got to say Stace, your lines round there were great! I love Lakeside, but it can be an unforgiving place.. plus some of the unusual lines that other riders were taking in that video can be very off putting!
@staceonwheels3 ай бұрын
Thanks... I can't take credit for my lines, as I was just doing what the track guardians had shown us. But yeah, the variation among riders is interesting. I love how many layers of learning are possible in this sport, just going around the same track!

@@staceonwheels too right! There’s a couple of laps around there on my channel on a classic RS125 if you’re interested.. although I did nearly overcook the exit of the bus stop when I dropped a gear too early 🙄

How often do they do track days? I’m wanting to take my V4 streetfighter for a spin. How do you find the other riders at the track days - supportive or too competitive? Thanks
@staceonwheels3 ай бұрын
They run 1 or 2 recreational ride days a month. The attitude is overwhelming positive and supportive. I'm sure there is friendly competition but prob only in the fast groups. I you haven't been there you may have to do the induction group first time. Try it... your SF will love it.

Your cornering is good, but don’t watch the bikes in front of you too much look down the track at your lines & openings where you might be able to pass them. Act like you are the only one on the track & everyone else must speed up or get out of your was. I liked the pass you did
@staceonwheels3 ай бұрын
Great stuff, thank you! Passing on corners is a future focus... I think I need more confidence with different lines, as we can only pass on the outside in blue group. But I can certainly do what you say and worry less about other riders 👍
