Where is that valve you said was on the outside to allow the water to go down the drain? Otherwise, this was very informative, since I just bought a hawk model!

Does the hot water tank fill from the city water hookup too? Seems like it might using the process shown at the end of this video.

So isn’t the hot water tank going to continue to fill up while you use it? Can I only use the 6 gallons and save the other 20 for cold water?

After filling the hot water tank, shouldn't you top off the main tank? Or otherwise you only have 14 gallons of cold water, not 20.
