You need to do a Part 7 on dry pavement. Fox Body Mustangs are a handful in the rain. Ask me how I know. 😁

but it teaches valueable skills. I drove my 1986 GT Mustang in the New England winters until only two bolts were holding the driver seat in place. Having 2.73:1 rear gears helped, but if an uphill stoplight went yellow I had no choice but to roll through it or be stuck.

This car needs a set of AFR185s, Systemax intake, and a B cam(they alll had B cams back in the day).

It never gets old and it certainly never stops being fun. Thank you for a great year and the year coming will be even greater I'm sure.

Thank YOU for watching! 2023 was a great one and we've got a ton of stuff coming in 2024 so stay tuned!

My buddy bought a '93 Cobra 30 years ago when we were just hitting our 20's. Beautiful, low-mile, damn near brand new car. Naturally, he got it in February in MA - roads frozen and covered in road salt. We did a TON of fishtailing that night, lol. I cringe thinking of driving a Fox Cobra in salt, even back then!! YIKES! Later, he threw a Procharger on it, along with a few other goodies. Thing was a ton of fun! I wonder where that car is now ... Someone probably had to do a bunch of body work to it, I'd imagine, because of that winter 30 years ago. Good times!

Thanks for the video, it was nice, it would have been a lot better with a dry weather but it is what it is.

Gonna be hard to top this Series. Hopefully, the Foxes story doesn't end here...

Outstanding series, a lot of skill and hard work. It was great to hear everyone had the same nostalgic reaction working on it, as we did watching. Side note - Mr Musto with the torch needs to be on a t-shirt! Thank you as always ~ Chuck

Thank as always Chuck for the support, and yeah... that T-Shirt think may have to happen 😁

Living an hour south of N. Adams, I can attest to airstrip drag racing. Over in Sterling MA there was the 330 Orange drag day until a few years ago. It was old school racing with a flag girl and swap meet, just walking the pits was like going to a traditional 'rod show, like the old Rockabilly Rumble or recent shows like Rumble in the Country at Terryville Fairgrounds or HotRod Fallout or Silver City Shakedown. But the racing itself was a trip back in time--like some of the scenes out of Two Lane Blacktop. For the amount of mods done to this virgin Fox, a four banger swap to an Explorer GT40P could have sufficed.

How about a follow up session with a draggy? Bring along the Z28 for a good time!

Really really enjoyed this entire series. That being said, the "finale" was a complete let down. I dont think anyone would care if they had to wait a little longer for a actual testing video on dry ground with a draggy. Cant really build something for 30k for drag racing and not actually show what kind of time it will run.....

Unfortunately that's just how production works at times. But we'll be getting you some dry numbers once the weather breaks in VT, don;'t worry.

Thanks Dave! Honestly, the ProCharger fell right we thought it would be, so we're pretty happy with it. Now, that doesn't mean more tuning isn't in order down the line...

How do you get permission to drive on runways? I'm a pilot and here in MN the Metropolitan Airport Commission (MAC) has a conniption fit when a car just tries to cross a runway.
