This shock is supposed to controlled leak past the seal, it lubricates the seal and if oil is always coming out nothing is going in... If you look at the inside of the seal you'll see channels to allow oil past.

Is this the full rebuild that does the job completely? fox has a video on it but they disassemble it even further than shown in this video, i want to know if it's necessary to follow fox's video or this'll get the job done just as well, couldn't even keep up with fox, too many details it's just a headache.
