Unfortunately it is a Constitutional problem. It will need an amendment which will require 2/3 senate and house vote, and then 2/3 of states to rectify. Meanwhile, DOJ is trying to convict. Trump announced he was running when he got notice he was about to be indicted. Then the Supreme Court made a horrible ruling misrepresenting presidential immunity.

The DoJ has no choice, and the only way Congress could stop him is by passing a resolution declaring him an insurrectionist and disqualifying him under the 14th Amendment - and we currently don’t have the votes. Vote out the Republicans in Congress!
