50 yr old midlife crisis checking in. Recently picked up some Comps. Very impressed been out the dirt for many a yr now and needed something for me and the pit bike. That will NOT be living a pit bike life.....muhahahahaha. great fit and no problem riding all day in them.

Would you recommend the Motion X or the Leatt 4.5 Hydradri? Or something else for a waterproof motocross(ish) boot. Looking for more protection around the ankle laterally than most adv boots. My usage would be largely adv touring (large heavy bike too), equal amounts tarmac and off-road, multiple weeks on the bike.

Hi, I wear Leatt and Gaerne in size 42, (I wear shoes in 41 but boots in 42 as the manufacturers recommend and the tags say so) I would like to know whether 8 or 9 will fit better.

I would go with the same size in the Fox boot that you wear in the Leatt or Gaerne - Chase

What brand is the water proof membrane? It’s probably not Gortex other wise you would have mentioned it.

They do not specify what brand the membrane is, but I'm sure you could reach out to them and get an answer.

Chase, Fox Motion vs Leatt 4.5 Enduro?

Man, that's a tough decision, they are both great options. Right now with some of the deals we got going on with the Leatt boots on sale and closeout, it's hard to beat that deal. I think both are very close in protection and support. The Fox is definitely my favorite fitting boot, though. If I was choosing between them and they were both at full retail, I'd go with the Fox. - Chase

I don't know which one is the better waterproof option, but for comfort and performance, I would go with the Motion. - Chase

They look like they are too narrow, like boots by other manufacturers (with Forma Terra Evo Dry being an exception)
