FOX RAGE PRO SHAD! Pike, Perch and Zander lures that catch more fish!

Zander pro shad has to be my favourite small softbait for pike - very important to rig with a stinger in my opinion though. They love a tail nip

Zander pro and slick shad are top, i like these ones also, but zander pro get real hard Strikes, pike seems to love it or sometimes hate it and there is big hard strike, very durable plastic 👌

What size hook and weight of the jig head would you recommend for the 10cm shads?

Depends how deep your fishing anything from 5g up to 50 lol

Can you tell me how you stop the lure snagging? Using it the way you did there with dropping on the bottom then flicking it up. Always just found these always snag on debris weed etc..

It's a bit hit and miss really, l let these type of lures sink to the bottom and quite often have a fish grab it, sometimes it might snag a bit of weed on the way down but most of the time it doesn't, obviously you need to know the waters well!

1) use only a single hook jighead 2) use a piece of fluocarbon and stick this in the bait before the hook, it will make an offset system that protects the hook from debris. or go for a weedless system with a hidden hook, but fox pro shads are not that suitable for that because they need lead weight to go straigth trough the water

@@masomaf not really true, they can be rigged on a Texas with a side rigged weedless hook
