It’s sad to see what Arctic Cat turned into after Tucker retired!

Sure took them long enough to make the sled design rider friendly. You couldn't stand on them very well for sure.

Spoken like a real idiot. You’re probably a teenager that thinks that everything is easy to make. 10 years sleds looked nothing like what they look like now. They were never meant to race goon.

"Standup style" snocross racing really didn't become the norm until after Blair Morgan hit the scene in 1997, after that the Arctic Cat Sno Pro racers (as well as the other brand's machines) gradually evolved to be better suited for stand up racing. By 2005, Ski Doo, Arctic Cat, and Polaris all had purpose built Snocross machines meant specifically for stand up, rough snocross racing. The Ski Doo REV really was the most influential machine leading the changes in ergonomics towards the more modern, rider friendly machines. I have a few ZRs in the stable (1997 and 1998) as well as a 2005 Firecat F6, even though the Firecat is considered " old school" by todays standards, going from the Firecat to one of the older ZRs its really astonishing how much different they feel ergonomically...newer machines would be even more drastic. The Firecat just puts you up higher while sitting and is MUCH easier to stand on then the ZRs with higher handlebars and wider running boards. Then we also have a 2009 Polaris Dragon which feels what like the next evolution of the Firecat would have been if they continued with it. It puts you up a bit higher and forward yet...much more comfortable then the older iron.

Arctic cat had the wishbone suspension dialed in by 1997 when skidoo ,polaris and yanaha were using 80s technology trailing arm but the patent ended and they all went wishbone by 2003 and everybody stood up but blair and tucker rode motocross off season and that was the style they knew
