Man, thank you for the review on the Tur. I recently got this one and I absolutly love it. As for the action, I took mine apart today, cleaned it and used nano pivot oil on the washers. I put it back together, tightening everything up with the blade at 90 degrees to the handle - makes for perfect centering. It is now a very snappy action that you can thumbflick open without missing.

I REALLY want one of these but something else for review always bumps it out of my cart.

Slicey Dicey I know the feeling exactly! This one is a cut above for sure. Sadly it’s going back for now because I just have so many folders in this size already. When I sell a bunch off I’ll grab another one. Also, A.G. Russell has this on their site for $159 too btw if that helps. Blade HQ will prob match it. Lol. rock on thanks for watching!

you've got good taste. got this one also about 2 months ago but although i think i will keep it in my collection. i really like the stout tip with the thick blade stock. For instance, I would be worried to use the tip getting under thicker material such as zip ties with a pm2 vs the tip on the TUR. Has a slicey but yet very sturdy feel.Great review of this one and agree with all your points.

Robert Readinger I agree completely! It’s really nice to have thicker blade stock on a smaller knife sometimes. I have definitely had some moments where I was worried about the tip on my pm2 that’s for sure. Thanks for watching!

Love that design . Price here (uk) is ridiculous though. Roughly 300 dollars

That's a great design.. I think it's worth the money for Italian made quality, design and materials.. I look at these videos and cringe when I think of all the BM 940 variants I've bought for about $200 and up, not to mention other stupid purchases I've made... You have an eye for good knives...

Very nice knife. It's still hard for me to beat the Factor Iconic CF compact when comparing...Or the Viper Fortis...I too really like Voxnaes designs -- especially when he uses the flat grind on his blades vice his more normal chunky ones...EDIT: I picked one up used. Wow it really is awesome. Glad I got it.

I want one. The price keeps me away, but it definitely looks worth it.

Hey guys I just got a TUR. I love it besides the pocket clip. It’s way too tight. Any modifications I can do/different pocket clips.
@markcoffman4943 жыл бұрын
I had one a few years ago in the pocket clip is what made me sell the knife but now I’m looking at it again. In my hand it was a little bit of a tight grip but it was very comfortable.

As a lefty it annoys me soo much that they didn't drill clip holes for left hand carry. 😒

Have you carried an ACE Biblio and if so how would you say the Tur compares? Thank you.

I was wondering the same thing

So I messaged Jesper about this. He prefers the Biblio for edc and mentioned that the blade geometries are different. Biblio is more of a slicer while the Tur is comparatively more of a stout cutter.

It's a cappy knife for 200 dollars. Terrible action. At least they could have Mae it a flipper. Thumb studs are huge. Lousy clip. It's a nothing knife.
@rangerjonoutdoors64296 жыл бұрын
Jameson Cross I’d actually have to respectfully disagree. It is a little expensive at $200 for sure, but a “Nothing” Knife I don’t think I could say. The action is very stiff but it is built like an absolute tank for such a small knife and the lockup feels like a bank vault to me. Thumb studs are what I would consider perfect size to get a good purchase for how stiff the action can be, and they are out of the cutting/Sharpening path. If you carry one and use it everyday for a couple weeks it smoothies out a lot as wel to where it becomes “flickable”. Lastly no the clip is not amazing, but I think for a mulled clip it’s actually one of the better mulled clips I’ve seen. Plenty of spring and goes in and out of the pocket nicely. I definitely couldn’t use the words “Crappy” or “Nothing” to describe this knife. Overpriced though? Sure probably a little. $150 seems a lot more reasonable for this knife. Thanks for watching!

Ranger Jon Outdoors I bought a spyderco dice. 170 dollars it's a great knife. I like small high quality knives, as well as other ones. I want to like this knife but the action is horrible.

@@jamesoncross7494 maybe you got a bad one cuz i handled 3 of them yesterday and they all flew open with minimal effort; way better than the one in this video.
