Ask the alleged suspect to come to the front of store where the lighting is better and there is more space Notify alleged suspect that He is suspected of carrying an illegal firearm and/or what’s the reason for him being singled out Do the body raised shirt check as seen in this video, but also proceed with the pat down routine, [even if alleged suspect has to remove outer jacket/ winter coat] while simultaneously, inquire of such said alleged suspect if he is licensed to carry a firearm and if so, is the firearm for work, personal or both? Also inquire about other objects that may be on his person that can be be perceived as a weapon or any other form of illegal contraband or items that can be perceived as illegal contraband With 3 police officers this procedure could have been followed easily and loss of life and injury could have been avoided I pray we as a city can heal and do better as a whole
