People blamed Bobby for alot of things that were not true. It took Michael her brother to finally come out and tell the truth. IF Bobby had not move on from Whitney he would have not been able to stay clean. Whitney was not ready to give up the drugs. You cannot blame him for wanting a life. He pretty much gave up his career willing, so Whitney could keep her career going and they could have a family.

I like Bobby but he messed up in how he handled this situation with his daughter . Usually when someone loses one parent they get closer to the other parent . For example the rapper Nas' mother died and his father who was never in the picture came back into Nas' life when he lost his mother. That is what happens a lot, but not this time . Bobby never stepped up , Bobbi Kristina was basically on her own after Whitney died surrounded by people who were not going to tell her about her drug use because they were not her parent . Bobby should have got her an apartment near him so he can keep a eye on her. He seemed to have not cared once he got remarried and had more kids .

And karma brought in Nick to treat his daughter (someone he cherishes so much) that way to replay the life he had with Whitney to him. faye b it’s called denial. Happens more than not, especially when an addict is so deep in their addiction, family tries to intervene and make things better so they are not so harshly judged by society. Every family has a dirty, little secret!

He tried to see her, but as an adult she refused to see him. Not only did she stay away from her father Bobby, but she stayed away from the whole family. No one had contact with her and they all tried to talk to her. Her brother recently came out and talked about how the whole family was trying to help her, but her bf Nick kept getting in the way and didn't allow her to talk to family or close friends.

So when does personal responsibility as a parent that did drugs in her presence, before Nick came about become the true factor? Whitney & Bobby started this campaign of destruction which lead to her death... let's focus on the introduction.
@CodyCole807 жыл бұрын
Carla Scott ... 🤔 Why? He wasn't on drugs during her end? BK chose to follow her mother after her parents' divorce, and her mother was STILL doing drugs. Once Bob and Whit split, Bob got clean. BK could've followed her dad's influence then, but she chose to follow her mom's ... right to the grave. ⚰️ (Sad but true) 😥 BK was a 22-year-old adult when she passed. Let's stop pointing the finger at Bob and give him props for cleaning his life up. We've all made mistakes in the past and have things we'd like to live down that WE CANNOT CHANGE. Can't blame him forever for her going the wrong way.
@Ajoe_19537 жыл бұрын
It doesn't matter about his past! That's another topic! Ppl choose to do what they want! Nobody forces you! Now with that being said she was murdered and the guy that did it, needs to take responsibility for his actions! He wants to see justice for the loss of his daughter! Had she overdosed by herself and it had been proven! I think the loss would of just stayed emotional! But it's not the case! She was murdered and as a parent myself I would be damn sure that the person involved would go down! Bobby don't need money! I'm sure he beats himself up everyday for him doing drugs with Whitney in the past! Whitney took that boy in and he was an opportunist!

Bobbie should have been in his daughters life more ,especially since she started showing signs of having problems with substance abuse. He should have been in her life cause he was her dad over all. Bobbi k. was so young when she died just like her mother. But i also know Bobby was off at a distance struggling with drug use on his own. *Still some one shoulda stepped up to help this poor lil girl who died too fast so young. Smh.
@cham26116 жыл бұрын
Well we all have to reap what we sow. He engaged in the drug life with Whitney and ultimately that's what killed her. Nick engaged in his daughter's drug life and that's what killed her. He suffering the way Whitney's family suffered.

before the incident happened on January 31st Bobby acts like he was so clueless about what's going on with his own child he had to find out by family members or social media about Bobbi Kristina!!!!!! no way in hell I'm a lil boy to take total advantage of my daughter and he's no good and I see the signs the biggest red flag that Bobby said was he called her to check up on her and he hears Nick Gordon background said he keeps crap AKA he got a gun after I hear something like that I will come and get my child no question about that let's just keep it a hundred here Bobby saw all the signs and everything was going on and he didn't do anything until it was too late he only saw her twice after her mother passed away come on man she needed him the most he was her only living parent she had left everyone in here can make excuses for him and stay with child won't Bobbi Kristina was really on her own after Whitney passed away and Bobby was so caught up with his new family and wife he was not even paying attention it amazes me how a woman like Whitney Houston I mean she loved and adored this man and she did everything for him bend over backwards and treated him like a king but it's sadly he did not treat her like the queen that she was and glorify and adore his new wife of his and your family and nobody caught on to the lie that he told his book the lawyer asked him did him and Whitney have a miscarriage before Bobbi Kristina and Bobby said yes but in his book he said Whitney fake miscarriage on the set of The Bodyguard he's lying on the deceased who cannot even defend themselves Nick Gordon is a reflection of Bobby Brown the way he did Bobbi Kristina it's the same thing Bobby did to Whitney, the sins of a father

Whitney and Bobbi Kristina were drug users and surrounded by the people enabling them or other drug users. Seriously, Nick Gordon is not the only culprit in this tragedy. If Bobby Brown had tried to get a temporary custody until Whitney recovered from her drug addiction or reach out to his daughter frequently about the danger of drugs & alcohol after divorce regardless obstacles with the Houston, perhaps, Kristine or/and Whitney would have been here today. Kristine was on a very obvious downward spiral after her mother died, and Bobby Brown didn't step up to monitor his daughter's behavior closely. The grown-ups had let her down!
@BillBiggs1 Жыл бұрын
They absolutely let her down. Bobby should have gone for a Britney style guardianship. His sister would have been the ideal mentor.
